An autorickshaw, shortened to "auto" or "rickshaw" (you can see a pattern emerging here I assume) is a three wheeler of obscure origin that the Indian underclass insists on using as public transport (the great Indian middle class can now afford little Hyundais). It makes a lot of noise and is rather unsafe. Do not get into it. Enough about autos.
