Crowds surge ahead and around me on their way to Mughal Masjid with spears and mock coffins recreating scenes from the battlefield of Karbala, beating their heads as they run along.

I was lucky enough to be invited to shoot from the top of a truck that held TV crews and spotlights, following the procession. We hung on to our equipment and each other, falling all over the truck, hopelessly entangled in electric cables.
