Not even the recent tsunami has quite doused the embers of Phuket’s famous nightlife – it is alive and well and full of spirit. You wouldn’t possibly guess that there had been seawater on the road, cars piled up one on top of another, and boats in the streets. What a fantastic people they must be to wake up one Sunday morning to the biggest natural disaster in the world and show no signs of unhappiness a couple of months on. We all want a bit of that Thailand.
